The challenge: Increase sign up to the Friends of Classic Malts eCRM program and engage whisky fans with the Lagavulin brand. 


The idea: Win the best job in the whisky world
We invited known whisky enthusiasts via email to apply for the exclusive opportunity to become Iain McArthur’s first ever apprentice at the Lagavulin Distillery on the Isle of Islay. Iain is a bit of a legend in the whisky world so we used him to rally the troops and get people excited about joining him in a series of revealing videos. The campaign was a success with over 10,000 fans applying for the job and we got over 20,000 new Friends.
